Captain John's passion for fishing began in early childhood, and it's been his life's work for the past 50 years. With over 35 years spent sportfishing in Hawaii, he brings a wealth of experience and local knowledge to every charter.


Holding a Captain's License from the US Coast Guard, Captain John prioritizes safety and ensures a memorable and enjoyable day for all guests. He's been dedicated to the guided fishing industry since 1989. He specializes in big game fishing techniques like trolling and using bait to target prized catches like Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Ono, and Tuna.


Beyond his expertise, Captain John is known for his welcoming approach. He treats everyone with dignity and respect, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive environment on board. Whether a seasoned angler or a curious first-timer, he is dedicated to showing you the best time possible by creating a fun and engaging fishing experience for all by ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to actively participate and maximize your chances of catching a fish.
